A transmitter consists of a sensor and amplifier electronics. The sensor converts the gas concentration into an electrical signal. Electronics in the transmitter strengthen and linearise the sensor signal into a current output. The current output is transmitter to the controller via a cable. Use of a transmitter ensures accurate and stable measurement.
