IR24 Transmitter

IR Transmitter for carbon dioxide or methane

Infrared technology for unique measurement
This gas transmitter measures carbon dioxide (CO2) or methane (CH4) using NDIR technology, in non Ex-proof applications. Infrared gas detection is completely selective, no other gases can cause cross-interference meaning that false alarms are minimised.

Long lifetime, durable product
The IR24 electronics ensure permanent accuracy, even when exposed to temperature variations. The infrared sensor used in the IR24 has a proven lifetime of more than 5 years. In addition, the sensor and electronics are securely protected against splash-water in a sturdy housing (IP 54).

Fast adjustment
The transmitter has potentiometers and measuring points for simple adjustment of zero point and sensitivity (one-man calibration). GfG transmitters are supplied pre-calibrated.

The advantages at a glance

  • Selective infrared detection technology
  • Very little cross-sensitivity
  • No false alarms
  • High reliability and stable, reproducible readings
  • Long sensor lifetime and low cost of ownership
