ZD21 Transmitter

Transmitter for oxygen

The ZD21 is a very efficient transmitter for detection of oxygen with an amperometric oxygen sensor, based on zirconium dioxide. This measurement technology also has excellent long-term stability and selectivity.

The sensor used in the ZD21 has an extremely fast response time of t90 < 2 seconds. The sensor is very resistant to the effects of pressure and temperature changes, or changes to humidity. It is also resistant to CO2, a disadvantage for conventional electrochemical oxygen sensors in certain applications.

A wide measuring range is available, from as low as 0.0 – 0.1% vol to 0 – 96% vol. The transmitter electronics ensure reliable and accurate measurement for the long term.

The advantages at a glance

  • Excellent long-term stability
  • Fast response time
  • High selectivity
  • Temperature compensated
  • Resistant to CO2
  • Long lifetime (typically 5 years)
